Christopher B Holt is President and Chief Executive Officer of Turf and Soil Management, LLC and a member of the Board of Directors. He brings more than 24 years of experience in the Turfgrass industry, and he executes the company’s strategic growth and operational plan. Previously, Christopher managed a territory promoting and selling products for both Helena Chemical Co, and Professional Turf Products. The sales positions together built a 10-year career of relationship building, training and implementing and achieving goals for both companies. Prior to sales, Christopher spent many years in the Golf Course Management side of the business working at several golf courses caring for and leading the turf maintenance operations. Having an early career in turfgrass management and turf health has been instrumental. He holds an Associates of Applied Science in Golf Course Management and Landscape Technology from Western Texas College, SMEI certification, sales training and TDA applicator licensing for Texas.
Mike is Vice-President of Business Development and partner of Turf and Soil Management, LLC. He has over 30 years of golf course/turfgrass management, landscape management, landscape construction, and equipment/fleet management experience. During his career as a golf course superintendent, he has presented golf courses for four Tour Championships, and two USGA Championships, completed full course construction/renovation, and multiple in-house renovation/course improvement projects. Mike has also successfully developed/managed residential and commercial landscape companies. While working as a golf course superintendent Mike also served on the board of directors for NTGCSA(past president), LSGCSA(past president) and the Texas Golf Hall of Fame. Mike is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Agronomy, A.A. in English from Blinn College, is a Class A golf course superintendent, and holds a TDA applicators license.
Nathan is Vice-President of Commercial Equipment Sales and leads the T&S sales team. He has over 31 years of turf equipment experience. His career began in 1990 in the Las Vegas, NV market where he was responsible for equipment sales, as well as overseeing the service and parts department. He has received outstanding sales awards from two of the top industry equipment manufacturers. His career has encompassed territories in Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. He also has an extensive background in course operations, as a majority owner of a Texas panhandle 18-hole semi-private facility. With a strong background in sales management and equipment finance, he supports the sales team in territory management, inventory management, and commercial equipment finance.
Genieva Holt is the Chief Financial Officer of Turf and Soil Management, LLC and the strategic partner to the CEO. She brings over 20 years of experience from the finance industry and oversees the accounting department.
Her background includes over ten years of bank management, district support, audit preparation, human resources, sales, and customer service. She managed the office of a non-profit for two years with responsibilities, including leading the finance department, cash management, and general operations. Because of Genieva’s diverse background in finance and business administration, the Turf and Soil Management team has the knowledge needed to grow and adapt to an ever-evolving market.
Will is the General Manager of Commercial equipment sales and leads the Turf and Soil Sales Team. Will is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in the field of Turf and Soil Management. He brings a unique blend of expertise and leadership to the table. With an Associates of Applied Science in Golf Course Management and Landscape Technology from Western Texas College, Will’s educational foundation sets the stage for his impressive career journey. With over 17 years of sales experience, Will’s background is marked by a successful transition from golf course management to sales. His early career involved hands-on leadership in caring for and guiding turf maintenance teams. This hands-on experience not only fostered a deep understanding of the industry but also laid the groundwork for his subsequent achievements. Notably, Will has been recognized on a national level, having been awarded the Toro Sales Achievement award twice in his career. This speaks volumes about his dedication, strategic thinking, and ability to foster strong relationships with clients.
